Fahrenheit 451 pages 21 to 40

1) One thing that I don't understand about the reading is how Montag keeps running into Claresse even though he is never even searching for her. Also I want to know if Claresse has any family.

2) There is many ways that the people in the book are like the people today and different. One way that they are different is that people today don't spend time to smell flowers and do childish things. People now a days rely on technology for entertainment and Claresse shows that you don't need technology to have fun. Now we don't even wonder about anything such as what is on other people's minds and in the book they spend time talking and ask random questions. Now all people talk about is new gadgets and cars and other material things. Some things that we have in common is do stuff for fun and then sometimes we work. Another thing that we have in common is want and wish for things to happen.

I agree with what you say about Montag always seeing Clarisse everywhere because it is true that they see eachother every, but then she dissapears. This paragraph was specific in telling me what happened in the story

I agree with you that kids our days spend more time in the techno (virtual) world that nature (real) world. I agree that Clarisse shows and proves that technology isn’t the only way to have fun. I agree because we can have fun exploring the outside and we can learn new things.
