In your opinion, is it ever right to harm somebody? Why or why not? What would Socrates and/or Thrasymachus say in response to your answer?
In my opinion I think that it is right to harm someone if you really need to. I think this because if the person that you want to hurt did something wrong than he does deserve to get hurt. This is when it is right to hurt someone. The only time when it is not right to hurt someone is if the person did not deserve the hit or if he hasn't done anything wrong. I think that Socrates would agree with me because he thinks this about justice too.

is this truly how you feel? it seems a bit violent. Could you give an example for when it might be OK to hurt someone?
Before, I had this long thing saying that what you said, Socrates could have said many things against this. He would question you on what deserves means. Also, like Julian, I need an example. This could be taken in many different ways, mostly bad. So, this needs an example and you need to define your definition of "deserves".
